Lady Lions Fall in Four to Wayland Baptist

LANGSTON – Antonese Tatum posted 24 kills in a four-set loss to Wayland Baptist on Friday evening at C.F. Gayles Field House. The Lady Lions (7-12, 2-9 SAC) fell to the Flying Queens (16-5, 9-2 SAC) 22-25, 25-21, 18-25, 20-25.

Finehika Uhatafe tallied a double-double with 24 assists and 12 digs; Allanah Drayton-Campbell tallied 17 assists along with 21 digs. Brieanna Owen finished second on the team in kills with 11.

Langston hosts Oklahoma Panhandle State on Saturday, Oct. 9. Opening serve is set for 1 p.m.
