Langston Falls at Arizona Christian

GLENDALE, Ariz. – Two fourth quarter touchdowns by Arizona Christian proved vital as the Langston Lions fell short 30-27 to the Firestorm on Saturday night.

Langston led 27-16 in the fourth quarter when ACU's Tyler Duncan tacked on two rushing touchdowns to pull the Firestorm in front 30-27 with 4:08 remaining.

Despite trailing the Lions still had two opportunities to tie and move in front of ACU. The first offensive possession ended with a 45-yard punt from Elliot Janish and the final drive ended with ACU's Riley Tucker intercepting Langston quarterback Larry Harrington with 35 seconds remaining.

Harrington finished 13-of-29 for 215 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Tyler Travis led the ground attack with 88 yards on seven carries and Kevin Allen hauled in three receptions for 56 yards.

Langston (6-3, 5-3 SAC) travels to face Southwestern Assemblies of God on Saturday, Nov. 12. Kickoff time is set for 4 p.m.
