Cheer Squad to Host Spirit Day on December 9th

LANGSTON – The Langston University cheer squad and head coach Deonne King are inviting local schools to participate in this year's Spirit Day which is scheduled for December 9, 2023.

The Spirit Day will consist of a cheer clinic from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. followed by the clinic participants performing at halftime of the men's and women's basketball game versus Southwestern Assemblies of God.

Team registration is $125 and individuals can register for $25. The Spirit Day schedule is listed below.

Spirit Day Schedule
Date: December 9, 2023
Registration: 11 a.m.
Clinic: 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Basketball Game vs SAGU: 2 p.m. / 3:45 p.m.
Performance: Halftime of Men's and Women's basketball game

Cost: $125 per team / $25 individual
Cost includes performance shirt
