COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Langston University competitive cheer team closed out the regular season with a strong showing in the American Midwest Conference championships hosted by Columbia College.
The Lions and Lady Lions finished with a fourth-place finish behind Dickinson State, St. Ambrose and AMC Champion Oklahoma City University. Langston tallied a prelim score of 78.08 and a finals score of 81.87 for a total score of 80.92.
Conference awards were also announced with Jade Thompson being selected to the AMC All-Conference second team, the first ever All-Conference selection in program history.
