Hosea Bell

Hosea Bell enters his sixth year in charge of the Langston Lady Lions softball program in 2018. During his tenure leading the Lady Lions, Bell’s tallied 16 Red River All-Conference Softball sections including 12 RRAC All-Conference first team selections (Mary Jordan, Kayla Mercado, Melissa Naylor, Cameron Nicholson, Christine Rosas, Sydney Rios, Taylor Officer, RaVae Herrera, Alessia Gallegos).

Additionally, the Lady Lions have racked up four RRAC All-Conference second team selections (Christine Rosas, Angelique Council, Sydney Rios), one RRAC Defensive Player of the Year (LaChell Bell) and amassed a 110-141-1 overall record in the five-year span.

Prior to his arrival at Langston, Bell served as the head softball coach at Sterling College for 15 years beginning in 1999. At Sterling, Bell was also an assistant football coach and head men’s and women’s track coach.

Other coaching stops for Bell include Kansas Newman College in Wichita, Kan. and St. Mary of the Plains College in Dodge City, Kan.
