Fachaitte Kinslow joined Langston Athletics in November 2020 and serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics, Compliance and Senior Women Leader. In her current role, Kinslow is responsible for maintaining all NAIA related initiatives including compliance rules education, monitoring, coordination of required NAIA reports and implementation of compliance policies and procedures as well as game day operations and special events.

Since joining the university, Kinslow has been actively involved in the Lion and NAIA communities. On the Langston campus, she serves on the Financial Aid, Outstanding Senior Award, Behavior Intervention Team, and Assessment committees. On the NAIA level, Kinslow serves on three additional committees: Learning Disabilities Advisory Committee, RISE (Respect, Inclusivity, Support, Education) Compliance Administrator and Guest Relations.

Kinslow comes to Langston after spending nearly two decades as a mentor to students in various roles including teacher, academic counselor, therapist and counselor. She has designed graduation check programs for student-athletes, created academic plans and helped keeps individuals on track for graduation. As a counselor, Kinslow has helped students with overall mental health, substance abuse, depression, anger management, coping skills and an intense focus on increasing social skills while developing, implementing and monitoring rehabilitation plans.

After college, Kinslow started her career in journalism and marketing, first as an intern for KOCO-TV Channel 5 in the sports department. During the 2000-2001 academic year, Kinslow was a marketing and promotions intern for the University of Oklahoma athletic department.

Kinslow is a member of the American Counseling Association, Chi Sigma Iota – National Counseling Honor Society and the Oklahoma Counseling Association.                   Â

A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, Kinslow earned both a Bachelor of Science in liberal arts and science with minors in sociology and journalism (2000) and a master’s in general education with an emphasis in guidance and counseling (2004).  She is currently pursing her doctorate in sports management from the United States Sports Academy.

In her spare time, Kinslow enjoys cooking, reading, singing, making homemade jelly and watching sports. She also spends time on the family farm, helping her dad with their cattle and hay fields.
