LANGSTON – The Langston Lady Lions fell short to the Mid-America Christian Evangels on Saturday afternoon, falling 3-0 (15-25, 13-25, 25-27) in conference action.
After falling 25-15, 25-13 in the opening two sets, the Lady Lions battled furiously in the third and final set which featured seven ties. Ultimately, the Lady Evangels outlasted Langston by a final count of 27-25.
Antonese Tatum led Langston with 11 kills and 12 digs.
Finehika Uhatafe registered 23 assists with 10 digs and
Samantha Clements added 11 digs.
Langston (7-11, 2-8 SAC) hosts Wayland Baptist on Friday, Oct. 8 at C.F. Gayles Field House. Opening serve is set for 7 p.m.
