Lady Lions Roar Past Warriors 74-53

Box Score LANGSTON – The Langston University Lady Lions improved to 4-1 on the season after dispatching Bacone College 74-53 on Saturday night in the C.F. Gayles Field House.

The Lady Lions built a 47-15 halftime advantage before closing out the 53-74 victory.

Five players scored in double figures on the night with Jada Spence and Grace Williams leading the way with 13 points. Asheika Alexander added 12 points in addition to Jaliyah Sampson and Shala Robinson both tallying 10 points apiece. Spence also finished with a game-high 12 rebounds on the night.

Langston (4-1) faces Jarvis Christian at home on Tuesday, Nov. 16. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
