Women's Basketball Rout Central Christian

LANGSTON – Jada Spence scored a season-high 22 points as the Langston University Lady Lions cruised to a 76-36 victory over Central Christian inside the C.F. Gayles Field House on Thursday night.

Langston led 17-15 at the conclusion of the first quarter and promptly put the clamps down defensively on Central Christian, allowing just 21 points the rest of the game. The victory pushes the Lady Lions to 10-2 overall and 5-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Asheika Alexander also added 11 points on the night.

Langston (10-2, 5-1 SAC) travels to face Jarvis Christian in Hawkins, Texas on Saturday, Dec. 11 to close out the fall semester. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
