Lady Lions Fall to Eagles 86-67

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – In their final matchup of the year the Langston University Lady Lions fell 86-67 to John Brown University on Thursday, Jan. 20.

The Eagles managed to use a pivotal third quarter, outscoring Langston 28-17 to lead them to victory. The Lady Lions move to 14-5 overall and 9-4 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Asheika Alexander led the way with 20 points on nine-of-14 shooting. Collectively, Langston hit 40 percent (24-of-60) on the night and finished 13-of-15 from the free throw line.

Langston (14-5, 9-4 SAC) hosts Oklahoma City on Saturday, Jan. 22. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
