Lady Lions Rout UNT-Dallas 90-64

Box Score LANGSTON - Five players scored in double figures for the Langston University Lady Lions as they dispatched the University of North Texas at Dallas 90-64 inside the C.F. Gayles Field House on Thursday night.

Jadyn Chestnutt led Langston with 20 points and 13 rebounds off the bench in 32 minutes of action. Asheika Alexander was right behind her with 19 points, Grace Williams and Jada Spence both tallied 12 points apiece and Taliyah Harris chipped in 10 on the night.

For the game the Lady Lions short 43 percent (34-of-78) from the field and finished 18-of-21 at the free throw line. Langston outscored the Trailblazers 14-2 in fast break points, 48-24 in points in the paint and 31-9 in bench points.

Langston (12-3, 7-2 SAC) hosts Southwestern Assemblies of God on Saturday, Jan. 8. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
