Women's Basketball Falls in Season Opener

SHREVEPORT, La. – In the Langston University women's basketball season opener, the Lady Lions fell short 76-62 on the opening day of the LSU-Shreveport Classic Friday evening.

Hailey Jordan led Langston in scoring with 12 points on five-of-seven shooting; Kameron Shelley finished second on the team with nine points.

The Langston Lady Lions (0-1) return for day two of the LSU-Shreveport Classic and will face LSU-Alexandria at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
