Langston Falls in DH to OCU Stars

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Langston University Lady Lions fell short in their doubleheader matchup with Oklahoma City University on Friday, March 25.

In the opener the Lady Lions led early following a Shadie Davis homerun in the top of the second. The Stars countered with three runs in the second and five runs in the sixth to defeat Langston 8-1.

The Stars carried their momentum to game two, defeating the Lady Lions 8-0 in five innings. Gracelyn Rosales, Madison Slater and Rachel Miller all collected one hit in the loss.

Bri'Anna Kyle allowed four earned runs in two innings with seven hits in the start. Jordan Wilson finished the game, allowing two runs on five hits in two innings of work.

Langston (7-13, 1-5 SAC) returns to action on Tuesday, March 29th at Mid-America Christian in Oklahoma City, Okla.
