Volleyball Sweeps Dallas Christian

LANGSTON – The Langston Lady Lions returned to win the column with a sweep over Dallas Christian on Tuesday night inside the C.F. Gayles Field House.

From the outset the Lady Lions established their mark on the game, hitting .33 percent in the opening set and holding the Crusaders to a .037 percentage to take the set 25-17. It was much of the same recipe over the next two sets as Langston held serve, winning 25-15 and 25-19.

Braelyn Spence led the way with 13 kills and eight blocks. Finehika Uhatafe registered 31 assists and Samantha Clements tallied 10 digs.

Langston (8-9, 1-7 SAC) returns to conference play on Friday, Sept. 30 at Mid-America Christian.
