WAXAHACHIE, Texas – The newly minted No. 3 Langston Lions prevailed once again behind a trio of double-digit scorers, defeating the Southwestern Assemblies of God Lions 70-60 on Thursday evening.

Langston trailed for the first time this season at halftime, 32-31, but seized control in the second half on a 12-3 scoring run. Cortez Mosley capped the scoring run with a three-pointer to push Langston up 46-37 at the 12:59 mark.

The Lions led by as many as 15 points in the second half and held off a late rally by SAGU to keep their undefeated season alive at 16-0. Langston is the only undefeated team in the NAIA Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll and currently sits atop the Sooner Athletic Conference standings.
