Lady Lions Fall to Texas Wesleyan

Box Score EDMOND – Four players scored in double figures but ultimately the Langston Lady Lions fell 92-85 to Texas Wesleyan on Saturday at Hamilton Field House.

The Lady Rams led 86-83 at the 1:34 mark in the fourth quarter and closed the game on a 6-2 scoring run in the 92-85 decision.

Ayasha Thomas led Langston in scoring with 21 points. Kameron Shelley added 15, Anyia Pride finished with 14 and Veyoni Davis tallied 11 points.

Langston (10-5, 5-4 SAC) travels to face Southwestern Assemblies of God on Thursday, Jan. 12. Game time is set for 6 p.m. in Waxahachie, Texas.
