Women's Basketball Defeats UNTD 71-58

LANGSTON – The Langston University Lady Lions pushed their win streak to two games, knocking off the University of North Texas at Dallas 71-58 on Monday night at C.F. Gayles Field House.

The Lady Lions led 48-47 entering the fourth quarter when Langston roared to life, outscoring the Trailblazers 23-11 to clinch the 71-58 victory. Langston improves to 8-2 overall and 3-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Koreea Kirksey led the way with 15 points and Hailey Jordan finished with 12 points and 16 rebounds.

Langston (8-2, 3-1 SAC) hosts Central Christian at home on Thursday, Dec. 14. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
