No. 2 Langston Roars By Aggies 83-40

GOODWELL, Okla. – Anthony Roy scored a game-high 29 points as the No. 2 Langston University Lions rolled Oklahoma Panhandle State 83-40 on Thursday night.

Langston remains undefeated at 16-0 overall and 10-0 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. The Lions are 16-0 for the second straight season under head coach Chris Wright.

Roy finished the night eight-of-10 from the field including seven three-pointers and nine boards. Cortez Mosley also turned in double figures with 16 points.

Collectively, Langston hit 44 percent (27-of-61) from the field which included 12 three-pointers. The Lions held OPSU to 35 percent shooting (15-of-42) and forced 10 turnovers.

Langston (16-0, 10-0 SAC) hits the road to Plainview, Texas to face Wayland Baptist on Saturday, Jan. 20. Game time is set for 3:45 p.m.
