Lady Lions Roll Eagles 93-41

TEXARKANA, Texas – Three players scored in double figures as the Langston Lady Lions rolled the Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles 93-41 on Thursday afternoon.
 
Langston roared out to an early 29-13 lead following the opening quarter and never looked back. The Lady Lions built a 37-18 halftime advantage and continued to push the pace in the second half, outscoring the Eagles 56-23.
 
Langston's Diamond Richardson led the team in scoring with 13 points, Jordan Brown added 12 and Mikayla Woods finished with 11.
 
Overall, Langston finished 51 percent (33-of-65) from the field, converted on 12-of-16 three-point attempts and forced 39 turnovers on the day.

Langston (3-0) travels to face Waco, Texas to face NCAA DI Baylor University in an exhibition matchup on Sunday, November 3rd. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
