Lady Lions Roar Past Kansas Christian 123-14

LANGSTON – Seven players scored in double figures as the Langston Lady Lions knocked off Kansas Christian 123-14 on Saturday evening at the C.F. Gayles Field House.
 
The Lady Lions stormed out of the gate, leading 34-6 at the conclusion of the first quarter and never looked back. Langston remains undefeated and improves to 4-0 overall on the season.
 
Mikayla Woods led Langston in scoring with 22 points and Jordan Brown finished with 14. Koreea Kirksey (11 points), Yzabelle Tevao (11 points), Kashell Daughty (10 points), Jatalyah Williams (10 points) and Diamond Richardson (10 points) also finished in double figures on the night.
 
Collectively, the Lady Lions hit 60 percent (52-of-86) overall and finished 10-of-27 from three-point range.
 
Langston (4-0) opens conference play on Thursday, Nov. 14 at Wayland Baptist. Game time is set for 6 p.m. in Plainview, Texas.
