Lady Lions Ground JBU Golden Eagles 55-34

SILOAM SPRINGS, ARK. – Three Lady Lions scored in double figures as Langston University dispatched John Brown University 55-34 on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Lady Lions opened the game on a strong note, leading JBU 16-8 at the conclusion of the first quarter. Langston entered the fourth quarter in front 37-27 and roared their way to a 12-2 scoring run to begin the final period, leading 49-29 with 5:18 remaining. The Golden Eagles never got closer than 15 points the rest of the way.
 
Langston improves to 19-1 overall and 15-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference, the Lady Lions are currently on a 15-game winning streak and remain first in the SAC standings.

Diamond Richardson notched a double-double with 17 points and 13 boards. Jordynn Conner tallied 12 and Jordan Brown added 10 on the day.
 
Langston (19-1, 15-1 SAC) returns home to host Central Christian on Tuesday, Jan. 28 inside historic C.F. Gayles Field House. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
