Lady Lions Conclude Season in NAIA National Tournament Round of 16

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Two players scored in double figures for No. 4 seed Langston University, but the Lady Lions fell 55-51 to No. 1 seed Dordt (Iowa) University in the 44th Annual Women's Basketball National Championship Round of 16. The Lady Lions conclude their season at 31-3.

The Lady Lions trailed 55-51 at the 1:10 mark in the fourth quarter but were unable to cut deficit any further despite getting a three-point look from Mikayla Woods with under 25 second remaining. Langston got two additional shot attempts from Diamond Richardson and Jordynn Conner but couldn't convert as time expired.

Richardson led Langston in scoring with 20 points on seven-of-12 shooting and Woods tallied 13 points and 14 boards on the evening.
