No. 9 Langston Knocks Off Southwestern Christian 73-52

BETHANY – Trey Clarke scored a season-high 28 points, leading the No. 9 Langston University Lions past Southwestern Christian 73-52 on Saturday evening.

The Lions led 33-25 at halftime and pushed their lead to as much as 22 points in the 73-52 victory. The Lions improve to 17-4 overall and 11-3 in the Sooner Athletic Conference with seven games remaining in the regular season.

Clarke finished 11-of-20 overall with seven rebounds, his previous season high was 18 points versus Central Christian on January 3, 2026. Antonio Lewis and Jay Wilson narrowly missed double figures with nine points apiece.

Collectively, the Lions hit 45 percent (25-of-55) from the field and finished nine-of-21 from three-point range.

Langston (17-4, 11-3 SAC) travels to face Mid-America Christian on Thursday, Feb. 5. Game time is set for 8 p.m.
