Langston Places Four on SAC Scholar Team List

OKLAHOMA CITY – 129 teams in the Sooner Athletic Conference were named to the 2025-26 SAC All-Academic Scholar Teams list as announced by the conference office. This announcement kicks off the celebrating the accomplishments of the league's student-athletes during the past school year.

To have a team listed on the All-Academic list, a team must have a combined 3.00 Grade Point Average among their student-athletes who are on the team, which will be calculated using the institution's normal GPA rules regarding repeated courses, transfer credit, etc. Sum the total quality points/GPA points earned by all team members and divide by the sum of the total GPA hours earned by the team members.

Langston University placed the following teams on the SAC All-Academic Scholar Team list

Volleyball - 3.15 GPA
Women's Track and Field - 3.12 GPA
Softball - 3.11 GPA
Men's Basketball - 3.02 GPA
