LANGSTON – Langston University head men’s basketball coach Stan Holt has announced dates for the first annual Coach Holt Basketball Camp which will be held at the historic C.F. Gayles Field House from Monday, Aug. 1 through Wednesday, Aug. 3.

“The idea for us to hold a camp here at Langston University has been very well received,” head coach Stan Holt noted. “We are excited to have the kids here to experience Langston, be coached by our staff and have great time!”

Walk-up registration is held at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, however Coach Holt has received high interest in this camp and recommends early registration online. To reserve your spot before space runs out you can register online at coachholtbasketballcamp.com.

Additionally, Coach Holt has announced the first-ever Elite Camp at Langston University. He is inviting the best players in the state of Oklahoma to participate in a one-day only event. The event is limited in space and will be attended by some of the very best high school basketball players in the state of Oklahoma.

“What a great way for the elite talent in our state to visit Langston, compete against great competition, and learn the game from our coaching staff, and guest speakers—it’s going to be a great event,” Coach Holt added.

It is recommended that if a player feels he has been overlooked, he should request his high school reach out to the Langston Men’s Basketball staff to be considered for the Elite Camp. The Elite Camp takes place on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and includes an exclusive Elite Camp t-shirt and catered lunch.
