Christian Lowe was announced as the new Langston University head volleyball coach on April 4, 2019. Prior to her arrival at Langston University, Lowe coached at Lebanon High School, Riverdale High School and Tennessee State University. She also served as the head coach for the Alliance Volleyball Club, the top volleyball club in the state of Tennessee. During her coaching career, Lowe has developed an All-County MVP, two district MVPs, five All-County nominees, seven first team All-District selections, five second team All-District selections and three All-Regional selections.
Lowe played collegiately at Tennessee State, receiving numerous Ohio Valley Conference player of the week honors and was a member of the 2007 Ohio Valley Conference Championship team. Following her collegiate career, she played professionally overseas with Turnverein Dingolfing in Germany.
