OKLAHOMA CITY – The Sooner Athletic Conference gave its weekly offensive honor to Langston's 
Larry Harrington, defensive player of the week to Damaris Herron of Southwestern Assemblies of God and special teams player of the week to A.J. Bobb.

Larry Harrington rallied Langston past Texas Wesleyan on Saturday in Langston, Okla., with 312 yards and five touchdowns on 12 of 19 passing attempts and 56 yards rushing on 13 carries. The Lions overcame a 17-7 first-quarter deficit with four unanswered touchdowns. Harrington fired four scoring passes, including a 17-yard touchdown throw to 
Travis Romar to put Langston up 21-17 just before halftime and a 76-yard scoring strike to 
John Louis that gave the Lions a 35-17 advantage with 12:33 to go. Langston prevailed 42-31 on homecoming. Harrington has compiled 536 yards and six touchdowns through the air, a 61 percent completion percentage and 530 yards and three touchdowns rushing this year.
