Langston Lions Fall 41-24 to SAGU

LANGSTON – The Langston University Lions came up short versus the Southwestern Assemblies of God Lions, falling 41-24 on Saturday evening at W.E. Anderson Stadium.

Tied at 24-24 entering the fourth quarter, the SAGU scored 17 straight unanswered points in the final frame to eventually seal the 41-24 victory.

Ger'Kerry Jackson joined the 1,000-yard club after tallying 72 yards on 17 carries with one touchdown. Larry Harrington finished 14-of-31 for 260 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. Trevon Billington led all receivers with five receptions for 174 yards and one touchdown.

Malcolm Johnson led the Langston defense with eight solo tackles. Isaiah Hall also tallied one interception on the day.

Langston closes out the regular season at 7-3 overall.
