Lady Lions Fall in 5 to USAO

CHICKASHA – The Langston University Lady Lions fell short to Science and Arts 3-2 (18-25, 25-17, 21-25, 25-23, 12-15) on Saturday, Nov. 6 at the Drover Fieldhouse.

Tied at 2-2 entering the fourth set, the Lady Lions fell behind 10-3 but rallied their way back to tie it 11-11. However, USAO closed out the game on a 4-1 scoring run to seal the victory 15-12.

Antonese Tatum led the way with 16 kills and Kiyah Hedged finished with 12. Finehika Uhatafe and Allanah Drayton-Campbell both tallied double digits in assists with 27 and 14 respectively. Four players registered double digits in digs in Brittany Henderson (22), Drayton-Campbell (15), Uhatafe (12) and Tatum (11).

Langston closes out the regular season at 9-19 overall.
