Box Score LANGSTON – In their first conference home match, the Langston Lady Lions fell short 3-1 (15-25, 17-25, 25-23, 14-25) to the Texas Wesleyan Lady Rams on Friday evening at the C.F. Gayles Gymnasium.
The Lady Rams took the opening two sets 25-15 and 25-18 when the Lady Lions roared back to the third set 25-23. Texas Wesleyan went on to claim the fourth set 25-14 to seal the victory.
Antonese Tatum registered a career-high 25 kills, Allanah Drayton-Campbell tallied 19 assists and Samantha Clements finished with 13 digs.
The Lady Lions (4-6, 0-3 SAC) hosts Southwestern Assemblies of God tomorrow at 1 p.m.
