Box Score 2 PLAINVIEW, Texas – The Langston Lady Lions fell short in doubleheader action versus Wayland Baptist and Our Lady of the Lake on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Lions squared off with Wayland Baptist to begin the day and fell 3-0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-23) in the opener. Antonese Tatum led Langston in kills with nine, Finehika Uhatafe dished out 16 assists and Samantha Clements registered 20 digs.
Langston (3-4) closed out the day by facing Our Lady of the Lake and coming up just short in a 3-0 defeat (25-13, 25-19, 25-21). Tatum registered another nine kills, Uhatafe tallied 23 assists and 13 digs.
The Lady Lions (3-4) travel to face Sterling College in Sterling, Kan. on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 3 p.m.
