Women's Basketball Falls to MACU 78-59

LANGSTON – In their first matchup of the season the Langston University Lady Lions fell short 78-59 to Mid-America Christian on Saturday afternoon.

Taliyah Harris led Langston in scoring with 19 points and Asheika Alexander finished with 16. Collectively, Langston hit 37 percent (23-of-62) overall and finished 10-of-11 from the free throw line.

Langston (14-4, 9-3 SAC) faces John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark. on Thursday, Jan. 20. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
