LANGSTON – In their first matchup of the season the Langston University Lions came up short versus the Southwestern Assemblies of God Lions 79-53 on Saturday evening inside the C.F. Gayles Field House.
Langston was led in scoring by
Naythan Shaw-Clark's 19 points and
LaCorian Ballard's 10 points. On the night the Lions hit 35 percent (20-of-57) from the field and finished 11-of-21 from the free throw line.
Langston (0-14, 0-8 SAC) hosts North American University on Monday, Jan. 10. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
