Men's Basketball Defeats Midland Warriors 80-62

FREMONT, Neb. – Four players scored in double figures as the Langston Lions knocked off the Midland Warriors 80-62 on Monday night at the Wikert Event Center.

In the first half, Cortez Mosley (15 points) and Tristan Harper (11 points) paced the Lions offensively as they built a 45-32 halftime advantage. The Lions didn't relent in the second half, outscoring the Warriors 35-30 en route to the 80-62 victory over the Warriors.

Mosley finished with 21 points on nine-of-11 shooting and Harper chipped in 15 on five-of-eight from the field. Anthony White and A.J. Rainey rounded the quartet of double-digit scorers with 14 and 11 points as Langston improved to 2-0 on the season.

Langston (2-0) returns to action on Thursday, Nov. 17 at Mid-America Christian in Oklahoma City, Okla. Game time is set for 7:45 p.m.
