Women's Basketball Falls to MACU

LANGSTON – The Langston University Lady Lions closed out the regular season versus the Mid-America Christian Evangels on Saturday, Feb. 19. Despite a valiant effort, the Lady Lions fell short 67-48.

Asheika Alexander led Langston in scoring with 21 points on seven-of-15 shooting. Elan Wali was second on the team in scoring with seven points.

The defeat moves Langston to 18-10 overall and 13-9 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. The Lady Lions now turn their attention to the SAC Women's Basketball tournament which will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 22. The tournament bracket will be released on Sunday. Feb. 20.
