No. 3 Langston Upend Central Christian 86-44

McPHERSON, Kan. – Tristan Harper and James Ellis led No. 3 Langston in scoring with 19 points apiece as the Lions rolled Central Christian 86-44 on Tuesday night.

The Lions boasted a total of five players in double digits beginning with Harper and Ellis. D'Monte Brown finished with 17, AJ Rainey added 14 and Cortez Mosley chipped in 12 as the Lions improved to 19-1 overall and 13-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Thursday's victory marks the 15th victory of the season by double digits. Langston currently sits atop the SAC standings at 13-1.

Collectively, Langston shot 56 percent (36-of-68) from the field and held the Tigers to 37 percent (18-of-49) on the night.

Langston (19-1, 13-1 SAC) travels to face Oklahoma City University on Thursday night. Game time is set for 7:45 p.m. at Oklahoma Christian University.
