Women's Basketball Rolls Central Christian 91-38

McPHERSON, Kan. – Five players scored in double figures as the Langston Lady Lions knocked off Central Christian 91-38 on Tuesday evening.

After building a 16-11 lead at the end of the first quarter, the Lady Lions roared past the Tigers by outscoring them 24-6 in the second quarter to lead 40-17 at halftime. Langston closed out the game outscoring Central Christian 27-9 in the third and 24-12 in the fourth quarter.

Kameron Shelley led Langston with 17 and Adia Rogers registered a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Koreea Kirksey and Hailey Jordan both tallied 11 points and Ayasha Thomas chipped in 10 on the night.

Langston (14-6, 9-5) travels to face Oklahoma City University on Thursday night. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at Oklahoma Christian University.
