Women's Basketball Falls to USAO 82-72

EDMOND – Four players scored in double figures, but the Langston Lady Lions fell short 82-72 to the USAO Drovers on Thursday night at Hamilton Field House.

The Lady Lions entered halftime up 38-34 but the Drovers rallied and outscored Langston 23-15 in the third and 23-19 in the fourth quarter in the victory.

Anyia Pride led Langston with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Ayasha Thomas added 12, Hailey Jordan finished with 11 points and Koreea Kirksey tallied 10 on the night.

Langston (10-4, 5-3 SAC) hosts Texas Wesleyan at Hamilton Field House in Edmond, Okla. on Saturday, January 7th. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
