Lady Lions Fall 65-62 to John Brown University

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – The Langston University Lady Lions fell short 65-62 to John Brown University on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Bill George Arena.

The Lady Lions led by as much as 12 in the second quarter before the Golden Eagles managed to outscore Langston 15-11 and 22-15 in the third and fourth quarters. The loss drops Langston to 6-2 overall and 1-1 in the SAC.

Hailey Jordan and Kamesha Moore both led Langston in scoring with 17 points. Kameron Shelley was right behind them with 15 points on the day.

Langston (6-2, 1-1 SAC) begins a three-game homestand by hosting Southwestern Assemblies of God on Saturday, Dec. 9. Game time is set for 2 p.m. at C.F. Gayles Field House.
