OKLAHOMA CITY – Chasity Veals of Langston garnered her fourth consecutive Oklahoma Ford Dealers Sooner Athletic Conference women's field athlete of the week.
Women's field athlete of the week: Chasity Veals | Jr. | Richardson, Texas
Chasity Veals joined the A standard qualifying list for the NAIA Championships in the long jump with her jump of 18 feet, 10½ inches in the Oklahoma Sooner Invitational & Multis over the weekend in Norman, Okla. Veals took 10th place in the meet while ranking 10th this season among the NAIA. Her previous high in the long jump during the outdoor season was 17 feet, 11¾ inches in the K.T. Woodman Classic.
