Ahmia Dorsey Named SAC Oklahoma Ford Dealers Player of the Week

OKLAHOMA CITY - Ahmia Dorsey of Langston and Katharina Goze of College of the Ozarks have been named this week's Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for their efforts this past week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.
 
Goze took part in the Central Missouri Mule Relays and placed second out of 12 competitors in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 38:03.77 against a field of NCAA Division II athletes. 
 
Other Nominees - Kenna Conner, Texas Wesleyan, Inmaculada Delgado, Wayland Baptist, Jaquarius Gordon, Nelson, Kristian Nichols, UNT Dallas, Robyn Puente, Nelson, Makayla Thompson, Langston, and Mohamed Zairi, Mid-America Christian.
 
Dorsey participated in the Jet Relay and won the Triple Jump with an "A" Standard mark of 12.15m. Dorsey currently holds the second-longest jump in the NAIA this spring.
 
Other Nominees - Ryleah Fisher, UNT Dallas, Mia Gray, Wayland Baptist, Giani Wimbish-Gay, Texas Wesleyan, and Evangelia Woods, College of the Ozarks.
