Ahmia Dorsey Named SAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week

OKLAHOMA CITY – Langston University's Ahmia Dorsey was named the Sooner Athletic Conference Oklahoma Ford Dealers Women's Field Athlete of the Week for her efforts during the period ending April 28, 2024, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.

Women's field athlete of the week: Ahmia Dorsey

Dorsey won the Triple Jump at the SAC Track and Field Championships with a leap of 11.55m. This distance was good enough for an NAIA National "B" Standard as she will now advance to the National Outdoor Track and Field Championships as well as the longest jump of the season in the conference.
