Lady Lions Roll OPSU 70-27

GOODWELL, Okla. – The Langston Lady Lions returned to their winning ways, knocking off Oklahoma Panhandle State 70-27 on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Lady Lions jumped out of the gate, outscoring the Aggies 21-9 to open the first quarter. Langston led 33-15 at halftime and didn't relent, outpacing OPSU 18-8 in the third quarter to take a commanding 51-23 en route to the 70-7 victory.
 
Langston improves to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
 
Jordan Brown led the way with 13 points on six-of-nine shooting, Nykale Cramer added 10 and Mikayla Woods tallied 13 rebounds.
 
Langston (5-1, 1-1 SAC) hosts Southwestern Christian on Monday night at historic C.F. Gayles Field House. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
