Lady Lions Roar Past Central Christian

McPHERSON, Kan. – Four players scored in double figures as the Langston Lady Lions knocked off Central Christian 81-60 on Monday night in Sooner Athletic Conference action. 

The Lady Lions led 36-31 at halftime and pulled way in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Tigers 26-12. Koreea Kirksey scored a game-high 24 points on eight-of-12 shooting as the Lady Lions improved to 19-5 overall and 14-4 in the SAC. 

Hailey Jordan added 18 points, Kameron Shelley finished with 14 and Brittany Rivera added 11.

Langston (19-5, 14-4 SAC) is back at home on Thursday, Feb. 15 versus Wayland Baptist. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
