Lady Lions Fall in DH to USAO Drovers

LANGSTON – In the Langston Lady Lions first matchup with the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, the Lady Lions fell short 15-0 and 16-0 on Friday, April 12.

In the opener the Drovers jumped out to a 5-0 lead after one inning of play and never looked back. USAO managed to finish with 15 runs on 14 hits in the 15-0 victory.

Alessandra Thatcher and Asharah Thibodeaux collected the lone hits for Langston.

Game two the Drovers once again jumped out to a 4-0 lead early and tallied a 16-0 victory in five innings.

Thatcher and Tandy Garrett both tallied hits apiece.

Langston (8-28, 4-22 SAC) heads back to the mound tomorrow vs USAO. The doubleheader is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. at T.G. Green Park in Langston, Okla.
