No. 5 Langston Defeats Central Christian 68-58

McPHERSON, Kan. -  Three players scored in double figures as the No. 5 Langston University Lions defeated Central Christian 68-58 on Wednesday night.

The Lions came out strong in the first half, holding a 35-23 halftime advantage. In the second half, the Lions led by as much as 16 points at the 4:04 mark before defeating the Tigers 68-58. Since taking over the men's basketball program, head coach Chris Wright holds a 9-0 mark versus Central Christian.

Orlando Thomas anchored the Lions offense, finishing with 19 points on six-of-11 shooting. Omar Henry added 16 points and 12 boards, and Jay Wilson chipped in 10 points.

Langston (7-1, 3-0 SAC) returns to action on Thursday, December 4th at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, Okla. Game time is set for 8 p.m.
